hey guys, i just recently bought a 88 honda accord dx 2dr from what the title says but i think its a 3dr hatch because it has the long hatch door that opens. anyways i bought it for dirt cheap as it needs alot of body work along with tlc, it has the a20a1 motor with a 5 speed manual, runs great and drives very well down the road. my plans are to do a complete engine swap along with full suspenion upgrade from a newer civic or prelude, yes i know its going to be a full customized suspenion upgrade along with the engine swap but as i work at a parts store i have access to alot of parts. im just stuck in the engine swap idea of what series engine either D series, B series, or a H series. i know the D & B series are the smaller than my orignal engine but im looking the peformance aspect and fit into my engine bay. any help will be great for my future build. oh i do know alittle bit about the engine swap process and frankenstien build i did one frankenstein build with another guy and several swaps thats not a big deal for me, i used to be a mechanic by trade. any info i can get will be great thanks guys.

I'm a fan of the 3rd gens . Got a few of them, had some others as well. Never had a 3dr but a fried at work has one.
