Hello all..

So last fall i went out and bought a new car, as you can tell by the thread title. i got a 2003 Accord EX V6, 6speed. been driving it through the winter and now that spring is on its way ive been thinking about upgrades. ive been doing some homework and was wondering if anyone knows of any preferred websites or stores to get upgrades from or are they all the same, cause ive been searching and theres so many places to get different things from.

i'd like to start with the intake/exhaust/headers, then maybe move to suspension and braking, then the major engine overhauls like a turbo. but this will definately take a bit of time.

any info is greatly appreciated.

I like Auto Anything, and Summit Racing. I haven't bought anything from them, but everyone who has liked their websites.

Bad news. I read that the exhaust manifold (headers) are now a part of the block and can't be removed. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, the exhaust ports collect into 1 within the head. The inlet housing of the catalysts (#7 & 8) bolt right up to the head.

is there anything you can do about the headers then? or just replacing the block itself?

In my honest opinion, I wouldn't replace my headers. (Just for reference, we both have the same engine.) From what I've read on this site, headers just seem to make a sound difference more than a horsepower difference.
