Go to Honda Owners Link & register your car by VIN.
Honda Owners Site | Tips, Tools & Benefits for Honda Owners
From there, I think you can get the radio code. For my daughter's Civic, it gave 3 possible codes to try and 1 of them worked.

Hello Jimblake,

Thanks for the response, just did as you advised but it's asking for the serial number.

Sorry, I don't think it needed the serial number but maybe that's Civic vs. Accord difference??

Here's the fix, to who ever stumbles on this post in the future.
The audio unit software needs to be updated to fix a known bug.
Honda Service Bulletin SB 10-081 (SB-10038564-8500)
Product Update: Audio Unit Software Update for Security Code, Clock Reset, HFL, and Other Listed Issues

Your local dealer should apply the fix for free (ask to be certain). Or I heard you can order the disc online (ebay?) With my vehicle (a Honda Odyssey), the software was already up to date so I needed the dealer to create a recovery disc just for my vehicle.
Good luck!

Replaced the battery in 2010 Honda Accord EX-L. I have the original radio in the car and the security code. It has always worked before. Now it does not. When I try to retrieve the radio serial number I get the message "S/N No Code" So, the security code doesn't work and the radio thinks that it has no serial number to match with the security code. Any help?
