Default Question

I can't seem to figure out where to post a question that I have. I have done a search for the problem I am having and can't find an appropriate post or solution to the issue. How do I go about getting help with the problem at hand and do I have to wait a certain amount of time to gain the status that allows me permission to post a new thread here? Or whats the regulations on new members and posting? I realize I can only post in the sections that give me the new thread button to click on.. thanks any help appreciated.

If you need help with a car problem, General Tech Help would be the best section. I believe you can start a new thread anytime. Let us know the year, model, etc. (for example: 199X Accord EX, 4 cylinder, automatic). The more info. the better, each year and engine type sometimes have their own common issue. Then describe your the issue.

You can put some of the car's year and model info. in your signature, so you don't have to repeat in different threads.

If you need help with a car problem, General Tech Help. If you want info. regarding some other area, then possibly the other sections.
