Question re: 2024 Accord that I ony have 2 months
Maybe you can answer a few questions.
I have a 2024 Honda Accord, just got it 2 months ago. When I use my remote (from the doorway going into my garage from my home) I open the trunk, my car is in the garage, as I walk past the car and approach the back of the car to put something in the trunk it beeps about 5 times. I put my stuff in the trunk, when I close it, it beeps and pops open. Sometimes when I close it the second time it will open again and at times it will stay closed.
As suggested I used the trunk release today instead of the remote. The trunk stayed closed but the car didn't lock as I walked away.
I am at a loss since I had a 2012 Accord prior to the 2024.
My other situation
I had this happen when I was in a parking spot at a store, I released the trunk from inside the car, got out of my car and left the door open. Went to get a bag out of the trunk, took my handbag out of the car and closed the door. As I walked away it didn't lock. I tried using the remote to lock the car and still would not lock. I got in the car and started it, shut it off, got out of the car and as I walk away it locked.
If you have any insight on why either of these would happen I would love to know why. Thank you
