Default Should I get the Nav?

Thinking about buying a 2013 Accord EX-L 6-Speed Automatic, 3.5L V6.

Should I invest in the navigation? I have a smartphone so I can always use it to guide me so do I really need to pay the 2k for it?

Does the top screen feel useless without the navigation when not reversing or turning right?

Does the space where the "mouse" and other nav buttons feel unused

Any advise? Let me know what you guys think.

I bought the 2013 accord with navigation. My biggest disappointment is not being able to use it while driving. It is near impossible to use the audio commands and even some of those commands are not available while driving. I am very disappointed that we will have to bring our Garmin along on road trips to look for POI, restaurants, etc. while en route.
