Thx everyone for the input, good stuff. Will let you know how it goes--likely avoiding an auto Accord altogether, just seems easier, and I like stick anyway, and better gas mileage.

G'day

So, stumbled across a Protege ES sedan, '02, crazy miles (20,000mi, elderly couple), flawless condition, all power inc roof, so I bought. Couldn't pass up, great price too.
In a few months will be on look out for Honda either Accord or Civic still.

Thx for the feedback on your P-5, hope I enjoy as much, was great test drive.
