Like every performance mod, an electric turbo/supercharger has it's place and application. There are many N/A mods that'll boost airflow into and out of an engine, and give you more performance, but they all work on the fact that atmospheric pressure is pushing air into your engine. The turbo's and super's pull air in and force it into the engine. Now even a mild turbo or super does around 5-8psi, but can cost anywhere from $1500 to $3500. The electric may only cost $500, but only gives 1-2psi of boost. Not a lot, but better than nothing. Enough for say 10%more power. IF you are not going the expensive mod route, than it could be worth it, as it requires minimal changes to the engine, nothing more than attaching the turbine to the end of your intake.

I'd really like to hear from someone who has tried one of these eRam electric supercharger deals. They claim you can stack em -two in-line, to produce a higher psi rating.What I wouldconsider is the NA psi rating on a stock set up. I think i read somewhere that my f22b2 will move somewhere around 435 cfm (at what rpmI'm not sure- help me out here if you know this).So, in order to create any sort of "boost" you would needa "unit" tohave the ability to move much more than this.
A simple boat exhaust fan cannot acomplish this task.But, the pictures shown of this eRam device show a much larger impeller than that of a normalboat fan that they sell on ebay. So I am led to believe that it may be possible to produce some boost- if it can move enough air consistently. <p>

One unit gives about 1psi, two of course about 2psi. CFM isn't a measure of boost or pressure. IT's the amount of air that can move through in a given time, cubic feet per minute CFM. N/A regardless of the CFM, is always 14.7 lbs of pressure, anything above that is boost. So eram with 2 psi of boost gives total pressure of 16.7 (14.7 + 2)
