but seriously I agree to do a compression build from the ground up. Then the motor by itself will be a beast. I'm not too familiar with the 7th gen but if you can then do headers and a nice exhaust you'll see improvement there as well as a nice K&N Air Intake. Other High performance stuff as well- fuel system, suspension, electrical system, rims and tires,clutch(if manual), take some weight off with carbon fiber parts, modify your interior with racing seats, etc. you'll hit the mark.
