There are alot of locksmiths who can make a copy of chiped keys. I got my mustangs key done for 45 bucks. They have the same equipment the dealerships have.

One of my friends had to get a 2nd key for her Pilot and payed $130 for her new key (including programing).

i wondered why the key i bought for 2.50 didn't work... So it costs aroud what for my/Jon's car?

Between $100 and $150 to get it done at the dealer. Maybe cheaper if you go to a locksmith. Thank God our keys don't have the keyless entry transmitters built into them. Basically, you pay $2 to have them cut you a new key and then $148 to program the RFID tag in it.

i wonder is they make key covers like they do for cell phones now, there so thin, could they really make them for keys? do they?
