American Muscle Challenger SRT-8

RE: American Muscle Challenger SRT-8
I thought this thread was about the new Challenger? Not the Viper. Am I going to have to lay the smack downhere?
I have never been much of a Mopar guy. I never had anything against them, I just never owned one. But I do think that the new Challenger is probably the best looking car on the road right now.
That Hennessy Challenger in the video is pretty awesome. the only thing I don't like about it: it's an AUTOMATIC. AAAAHHHHH..
Having an automatic sports car really sucks. trust me. If you have ever driven amanual transcar with V8 you would know what I am talking about. After you have driven the manual trans with all that muscle, the automatic will bore you to tears.

When the Challenger was introduced in 08 Hennessey grabbed one and started working on it, unfortunitly they were only automatic. The stick was intoduced in 09 so im sure they will make a manual tranny also.

If they merge I will never own another Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep in my life. I wouldnt be caught dead in any sort of GM product.
Other than that, I dont see why they would merge in the first place. GM has so many brands already, many of which have identical sister products and now they want more lines of vehicles? Awhile ago they were talking about quitting Buick and Pontiac, but now they want more. I dont see any logic in that.
