Default My Ride - 03 i4 Accord Coupe

Finally got pics of my ride; I'm going for the sleeper look ONLY because my neighborhood isn't exactly the best.

Look at my sig for the link.

I haven't looked too much into the engine, but read somewhere (can't remember where though) that you can tell if it's vtech by the bolt pattern on the valve cover.

Can anyone tell?

Also, the main point of not knowing (besides lack of knowledge) is that it seems some plate that was on the cover has fallen off... what should it say, and where can I get another one?

thanks!

Hondas have vtec not vtech...people will get mad if you call it vtech.

if your Accord is Vtec then it would be plastered on the engine cover.. but I don't know much about which engines have what soO I can't really help you. Under the Engine/Internal part of the board it says "Engines for Car Years" or some such, it is a "sticky" at the top of that part of the forum.

Your engine is a DOHC i-vtec, the best place to find the beauty plate that displays the "i-vtec" is at any junk yard that has 03-07 accords, or you can look ebay but they might be fairly hard to find unless someone has a wrecked one.

That's what I thought...
on the way home, i went by autozone and ripped open an accord service manual..

it showed i-vtec and vtec as options, with bolt patterns.. i knew i saw it somewhere...

anyway, i think i'll check the junkyards for this plate...

thanks!
