Default Need new brakes, any suggestions?

So its time for some new front brakes. (06' Accord EX-L Coupe 5 Speed Manual 83.5k miles) The front rotors are really worn and I doubt they can be resurfaced. So my question is any recomendations for front brakes and rotors? I am not too concerned with high performance, just looking for a good set of front brakes and rotors that will last and perform well, preferably the best brakes for the $$. I see all kinds of 'no name' brands on ebay for dirt cheap... but not sure if they are junk or not. Any suggestions would be great!

I put the Centric Rotors on my car and they are holding up well. For my year car they are a little bit different. The ones I purchased have the e-coating, but it doesn't seem to be listed here.

I use "wearever" from advanced auto. Cheap rotors and pads and seem to hold up well.

ok thanks, I'll check it out! Pep Boys quoted me $313 for Pro Stop Platinum (Ceramic) pads and rotors, total for parts and labor tax.... I think thats too much.

Love the B's logo!! maybe next year though

Yeah seems a bit high, although I'm not sure what the price on those parts is. I imagine it would be about $100 or so in parts(can't say for sure cause I've only bought Volvo parts recently and they tend to be a bit more expensive).

And yeah, I was at game 5 and 7

Check out Auto Zones prices..I just put new rear rotors, pads, clips, lube and new caliper pins all 4..for $119.00 and the pads are lifetime and the rotors are 5 year...

The harder the pad is the more noises you'll have.
The 'lifetime' brake pads are so hard they will actually wear the rotors, as well as that high pitched squeal that puts your teeth on edge and makes you want to cover your ears.
On the other hand too soft of brake pads, leaves you with less braking power and lots of dust all over the rims.
My best choice has been Wagner Thermal Quiet; Even back when I could get Honda pads at dealer cost.
The newer honda pads are so hard it sounds like 2 china plates if you tap them into each other.
