Think i'm going to buy a shotty on sunday or monday once I get the money for my engine. 385grain slugs lol. The recoil must be stupid lol.

Not really... I shoot magnum slugs with my Rem. 870 and its not at all bad.... and 3 1/2 in mags out of the beretta. Walk in teh park.

 

Really cause the Mosin Nagant rounds are 150ish grain(forget exactly) and it bucks like a ****. I will only get a box or two of the 385grain 2000fps slugs cause they are like $3 a shell and keep those for when the stuff hits the fan. Then just have an assortment of cheaper slugs and buckshot.

 

I shoot 150gr, 180gr, and like 270gr with my .30-06 and its not that bad... i dunno, maybe the mosin has a bit more powder in the casing.

 

Hmm idk, could just be the design of the rifle, and the metal butt plate. All I know is I have bruises lol, I dont care though I love the Nagant.
