I'm starting to get close to new pad time. What are the best pads for the money. Think I'm going to haggle chris into helping me. Never messed with pads before, hell only thing I've ever done is change my oil.

I assume if your car shakes when you break its the disc breaks not the drums right?

Don't know if that happens with drums, but that's definitely your rotors on the disc brakes. Do you like to press down hard on the brakes when stopped after a nice hard brake? That leaves uneven deposits on the rotors.

Damn those are a bit expensive, anything cheaper that is still better than stock. Are they going to last longer than the stock pads, with stock rotors? Can you mix front and rear pads? Like have those upfront, and some cheaper ones in the back?

They are cheaper and better performing that OEM.. I got mine for $57/pair shipped. And yes, you can put **** pads on the rear, I recommend Raybestos or QuietStop.

Sweet that's what I'm gonna do then. How long do they last? I have a feeling they don't last as long as OEM.
