lol true

FATTY, it looks like my sub was already wired up to 8 ohms. The sub which is bad only had one wired going to it b/c the other one fell out. Hoping to cut the box in half tomorrow.

So basically, my amplifier is only going to be using 2 channels, correct?

Yeah your going to bridge the amp, your only going to hook up to the positive on channel 1 and the negative on channel 2. And if the sub is already 8 ohms than your already done, just hook it up to the amp like that.

Brandon that's weird, I've got everything blocked but actually HAF and I have no problems. So if you have HAF.com allowed it should work fine. If not I would try deleting it and reinstalling the add on, maybe try dumping the cache on FF if it's a recent problem. Does it do anything ****y on other sites? HAF has a **** load of scripts trying to run in the background from 5 different URLs.

Awesome! Thank You!

I didnt look to see how it was wired to the amp. But assuming it was done correctly, (like you said above), how could the other subwoofer have been wired? Only one side of the subwoofer was being powered, so that would mean that the + would be going to the other + channel and the - to the remaining - channel on the amp, would that have worked?

I'm not following... But from what I'm gathering, it may have worked if you had the same exact signal on both channels, but may have not been so good for you amp, I don't really know though.

If you don't plan on running the other sub than don't worry about it and just do what I said and you'll be fine.

I know I wasn't clear, I didn't really know how to explain it! I guess I just didnt understand how the other subwoofer was working when it was wired differently.

Anyways, I will keep you updated! I am thinking of mounting the amplifier and cap to the side of the trunk instead of on the box. This way I can use my seats fold down ability and it will look more organized.

Long as you keep the amp mounted horizontally you will be fine, if you mount it vertically the top of the amp is going to run hot. These amps cool passively, even if it has a BS fan. The only thing keeping them cool is the mass of the heatsink, and convection when things really start to warm up.

Yeah it did it for all sites.... really gay. I'm going to reinstall it now... I need to block everything I can from loading because 20kbps down is already slow enough...

It could also be your adblock, if you choose to block an ad, and choose a URL that doesn't just have ads on it, it will do that.
