Fatty,
So I took a drive and my bass is DEF much more loud. However, when I crank the music my voltage meter raises and drops in relation to the amount of bass. It easily does this from 13-14v and I can see it on my tach as well.
Any way to avoid this?

You have an electrical problem if with that little power your dropping that much. Corroded terminals, too small of a wire from your alt, bad battery, a lot of things to look at. I don't have a cap, and draw twice the power just on my sub and don't have drops like that.

It has to be a bad battery even though its not very old. A few months ago I went to Autozone and the alternator tested fine and the guy said the battery is probably bad.
I really dont want to go back to where I bought it from.....its the place who hooked up my battery backwards. Bah....i'll try to find the receipt tomorrow. At least my car is blue, maybe they wont remember me since I was quite mad to say the least.

If they won't swap it for free get a big cheap AGM battery if anything, forget lead acid, they are no good and they won't last. Your best bet is an odyssey or optima, but any AGM will be better than lead acid.
Still I'm sure you have some corroded terminals, and have you upgraded your big three? If not you only have a tiny wire grounding your amp to the chassis, if your not going to do the whole big three at least upgrade that ground.

I hope they will swap it for free, but I dont have a receipt b/c I sent it in to their insurance company I think. However, if I mention that they royally messed my car up I am sure they will remember me quite quickly. Yes, I also upgraded my grounding wire and also left the stock oem grounding wire. And my terminals have zero corrosion on them.
The current battery is a Werker. I have absolutely ZERO cash @ the moment so buying a new battery is not an option. I turned the subwoofer to -7 and it is fine now, although their is little bass.
I guess i'll go in tomorrow and hopefully they'll just replace it. Where are the AGM batteries? I would just rather get a yellow or red top if I had the funds. Which one would be best, the yellow or red?
EDIT: in the video the car wasn't running, hence the 12v on the cap.
AGM are glass matt batteries. Optima and odyssey are AGM, and have been for a long time. Now that technology has gotten a bit cheap and other companies are making AGM batteries, and they are still better than regular lead acid batteries. I've got two big cheap AGM batteries in my boat, and my dad has three blue tops in his, my big cheapos actually have more capacity, but the blue tops can crank out more amps.
In your case, you can go for a red or a yellow, but yellows are better for big sound systems as they take cycles better, and don't mind constant pumping a lot of juice. A red top is just a regular starting battery, but it is still AGM.
