Also thinking about entering the Accord in HIN chi town....

When I went in the summer there were a few cars with less mods and even a civic w/ a spray paint paintjob. Meh....we'll see. It is only $30 and it gets you and another person in so it would be cheaper if not the same $ than buying two tickets.

Nice choice on the retro, I too plan to do one eventually when the prices come down a little bit more.

As for HIN I know if its at a indoors place there are usually a lot of restrictions as far as gas and batteries go.

Yeah, I am still not all that familiar with retros yet. Havent even checked into hidplanet. I still am a bit confused as to whether or not you can use a kit like DDMTuning, b/c some of the lenses I have seen on eBay have some sort of OEM hid setup that looks odd to me and is not even close to an H1 bulb.
Also I was always worried about adjusting but then realized that if you mount them in the low beam you can adjust them w/ the factory headlight adjustment screws.

As far as HIN, in Chicago it was purely outside and I remember seeing that your gas tank must be under 1/4 and you have to unhook your battery. However, I think that must have been "general" rules because half of the cars there had all sorts of audio equipment turned on and weren't using generators.
