Recommended Floor Jacks & Impact Wrench
anybody have good recommended brand floor jacks?
the one i have every time i raise the car up the jack slowly descends...pretty scary when your underneath the car (but i use jack stands) not to mention when i lower my car with the floor jack it just drop instead of coming down slowly & i barely turn release the floor jack
& what about air/pneumatic impact wrench? any recommended brands?
i have an electric impact wrench & what a waste of money....
any suggestions out there?

I know falkore is going to jump in here and recommend the Ingersoll Rand impact... it's pretty nice...
About the floor jack, have you considered it might be low on jack oil? I know my craftsman jack was low and wouldn't raise the car sometimes.... just added oil and away she went.

Low pro jacks can be used on most cars. The IR gun wasn't too expensive the last time I looked. Try froogle.com to find a good price. I have a cheap $40 2-ton jack, but I'd recommend a Craftsman. All their stuff has a lifetime warranty.
The IR gun is the same size as any normal gun, has a built in silencer so it's quieter than most and a double-hammer that produces 600 ft-lbs of torque.

i got this kit, it was well worth the money, the compressor is very quiet, and fills real quick and the guns are awsome as well
IR are so expensive becasue they are such a high quailty tool, they are one of the best air compresors you can by i believe

i want a lightweight or not TOO heavy jack that can get the job done
& of course a big saddle on the jack
