Well the wrench came out of the gears when I called the other seller and they had changed their asking price to more. So hopefully everything checks out with the original one tomorrow.

Buyer is coming to get the volvo in about an hour.

 

Well had the 01 sequoia checked out by the toyota dealer(fred anderson toyota in raleigh, nc was very awesome to me by the way).

Had a little more wrong with it than I was looking for. Main mechanical things were:
Timing belt, water pump were way over due.
Serpentine belt tensioner was shot
cracked exhaust manifold, front cv bolts were cracked.
rust starting on most major components under the vehicle

Then a lot of little stuff that would add up quickly:
passenger seat tilt motor not working
sunroof not working
mis matched tires all the way around


Still kind of in the running but opening the search up a little more. Next on the list of vehicles to check out is a Lexus LX470. Its the Lexus version of the Land Cruiser which from my understanding is regarded as the best and most reliable SUV so maybe will find something here. Certainly has all the bells and whistles, and is a good looking rig, so going to hopefully check it out one night after work this week.

Really on a time crunch now as I leave for a months worth of training in two weeks and I would like this whole ordeal to be over before then.
