My OEM covers look like hell, every one of them is scratched up big time from the previous owner hitting curbs while parking. Best $20 improvement I've seen for my 1993 Accord LX.
Thanks!!! If you get a set like mine,do yourself a favor and after you get the OEM covers off, clean the wheels THOURGHLY before you put the new ones on.The black rim shows through a lot more than on the originals and detracts from the look until you get the black part clean.
Also they have an "adjustable tension ring" to keep the wheel cover snug. You will need to use a different setting on the rings depending on whether your tire has weights or not.3 of mine had no weights and 1 did ;ie 3 were the same setting on the tension rings, and 1 was different.

Washed it and then tried G3 Professional Scratch Remover on the bonnet!

the result is really amazing! the scratches done by this naughty cat, goes off in front of my eyes! just unbelievable guys! I don't know if anybody has already tried it, but I am really well pleased with it.

After reading many posts on non-functional cooling fan issues, I decided to examine mine. I removed the coolant sensor connector, jumped it with a paperclip...Fan runs fine. I also swapped relays for the power windows and cooling fan...both work equally well. So now I know that the fan only comes on briefly when temp reaches 195 degrees. With a new water pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses and belts installed by the previous owner, I know my 1993 LX runs as cool as can be...The needle on the gauge reads just above 1/3 and it never heats up at idle or on hills. Just to be safe, I carry a premix of 50/50 water/antifreeze in the trunk....

Just bought some Armor All tire spray for my car. A few weeks ago I had a tire that started cracking on the wall and I had to replace it So I've decided to keep better care of my tires this time around!

Also going to start messing around with reinstalling and then modifying my stock air box since it's been up in the 90s the past week and a half and I think I'll get more out of the plastic tube than I will out of my hot aluminum SRI! It will undoubtedly be an interesting endeavor and I will hopefully have pictures to share sometime soon.

Take your stocker air box. Just the bottom out of it. Along with all the tubes. Then you will have a poor mans cold air intake

That's the plan! My only hangup at the moment is finding something decent to plug up the holes from the baffles. Already yanked them off. I'm thinking I'll try to find a rubber stopper at work that's big enough for the job (I work in a lab so there's a plethora of unused plugs all over the place), otherwise I'll have to rig up something out of rubber or plastic blocks using a jig saw or something. Any recommendations for something I haven't thought of?

I'm really looking forward to seeing the sound difference between the stock, the AEM SRI and the modified stock intake!
