Question wheel covers?

i dont get it... uhh do they have a backing on them so you cant see your original rim? or what? i was thinking of getting some 16in wheel covers, because all of my stock hubcaps are rotting and all the paint is like chipping off, and there ugly... so how do they work? explain?

I had a feeling that they were the alloy stock wheels..Hubcaps won't fit on the alloy wheels at all only on the stock wheels that are usually black that those caps fit over.

Hubcaps are meant to make steel rims look like alloy rims. You have alloy rims already. If the paint is getting dingy, repaint them!
