So I'm on the market for a new scanner. I have been looking at the Autel MaxiSys Elite but are getting mixed reviews. What would you recommend? I really don't want to spend $3k on a scanner but that is what I've budgeted for. I am only a weekend DIYer but I do work on a lot of cars and last month was real good. 😆

I am looking at this particular Autel due to me working on foreign cars more than American cars. It will mostly get rid of the old laptop I use to code and program BMWs and Mercedes modules. I really don't need it because I can just keep the laptop I have but I need something with advanced features (would like one that can code new keys but then it puts me over my price). But from what I'm reading once you upgrade the software on the Autel it starts to freeze and move slow.
