It's a noise that is beginning to happen more often. Whenever I'm warming up my car and my car is in park then a knocking noise starts happening from my gear box. I tested it out and put in reverse just to see what will it do and the engine cut off on me but some of the dashboard lights were still on. Then driving home, my car acted like it was going to cut off. I just got a new battery and alternator. With my car cutting off, I don't want to drive it. I really hope it's not my transmission...
