Question Steering wheel viration when braking

Everytime i brake on my 2000 accord ex, the steering wheel shakes. Is this a brake pad issue? Can someone tell me what might be wrong with it. Thanks.

Sounds like warped rotors.

Find a deserted road with no traffic and try several very hard stops from like 60 mph down to 20mph. DON'T stop completely. After each stop drive again for a few minutes to let the brakes cool before doing another 60 to 20 panic stop. This is no guarantee that it will fix your problem as rotor replacement or turning might be needed but it is worth a shot before you outlay the cash.

If the rotors are imprinted very unevenly with pad material, this may not work. But in that case, after you get them resurfaced (or replaced) you should do that procedure again to break-in the new rotors.

if the rotor isnt warped too seriously, you may be able to get them resurfaced with a brake lathe.
