Default What coilovers is HAF riding on?

Been persuaded by my wonderful fellow members that coil overs will serve me better than springs. Want to get an idea of what haf is using. F&F have come up a lot. If F&F is the main choice would the type 1's be better or the 2's? Figure I probably don't need the 2.5's.

In my opinion there isn't anything that can come close to the F&F coilovers quality in that price range. For anything else with the same quality you will be looking at about double the price for tein, JIC magic etc.

Koni Yellows and Ground Control coilover sleeves here. Best quality setup for the money. $800 for two products made by highly reputable companies, and that have lifetime warranties. You can't beat that. Plus you can customize your spring rates to your driving needs. Ask anyone who has had this setup, and they will agree. short of buying $1200+ coilovers, this is the best there is.

True, you can find Function&Form for $200 cheaper, but you get what you pay for. F&F have made strides in their quality over the last few years, but its still no where near great. I've heard many people complain about leaking/blown/bent shocks after as little as 10k miles. They are designed to lower the car as much as possible, for as cheap as possible. While they aren't absolute junk, I'd never buy them. I'd prefer to have a time tested setup, with proven quality. They ride decent, but not that great. And they only come with a 1 year warranty if you buy from an authorized dealer. With Koni/GC, anything goes wrong, you can just send it in, and get a free replacement. That ease of mind, in addition with the superior comfort and performance, is what made me go with Koni/GC (after many hours of research into all setups).
