08 Accord EX-L and Winter Tires
Hi,
I'm planning on buying some winter tires for my 08 Accord EX-L and need some advice in regards to TPMS. I'm planning on having steel rims with the winters and was wondering if I need to buy a full set of TPMS Monitors for use in the winter tires? If so, will I need to get this system recalibrated by Honda? How easy is it to install the TPMS in the winter tires?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated....

These TPMS sensors have there own software and have to be calibrated and have reset procedures for various year, make and models of vehicles.

Hi Member
Yes you will have to calibrate the TPMS again..you also have to have that done when you rotate tires even if your only switching say t 2 good ones from the rear to the front..recalibrate all of them...
It's getting expensive to move your tires and rims around ...
