Parking brake will not hold 2007 Accord LX
Ideas please. Parking brake will not hold vehicle at 1200 rpm in drive pulling parking brake lever up as much as possible. This is a 2007 Honda Accord automatic with all disc brakes. The vehicle does not pull to the side when stopping using only the parking brake. The vehicle stops straight as well using normal braking. Both parking cables pull tension at their respective rear brakes. I just replaced the rear pads without problem, hoping this might help....it didn't. Parking brake adjustment seems right: the rear wheels move freely when the parking brake lever is down; but do not with one click up on the parking brake lever. I suspect a problem in one or both calipers. Need your thoughts on this, and whether this is fixable.
