HOOD PINS

RE: HOOD PINS
I don't have any pictures of them but I can tell you that the most difficult part of the installation is simply lining up the pins with where to drill the holes in the hood and finding a location to mount them. You can weld them in place or drill a hole to mount the pins along the front support that holds the radiator.

I go to dozens of car meets and don't ever seem to see them on Tuner MUSCLE cars at all.

RE: HOOD PINS
I've seen them on CF hoods... If you are auto crossing or racing you can put 4 of them on to hold the hood and then remove all of the pieces that would normally hold up your hood and loose even more weight. I like the look of them on race vehicles that are dressed like a race vehicle, and they are practical for weight reduction purposes and easy access... But I don't consider them a show item for a honda...
