Products or Chemicals to Avoid During Cleaning

I understand that there are certain types of chemicals that can cause deterioration of the interior plastic/vinyl or strip the finish/paint of the exterior.

What type of chemicals should avoid?

Your best bet on this subject is to not use anything unless it's sold strictly for cars in an auto parts store...
