Protecting the front hood '04 Accord
Hi all,
I recently picked up a couple of small stone dings to my front hood. I repaired the chipped paint but want to prevent getting more of them.
What do you use, if anything, to protect your front hood?
I have looked at and priced a hood mask but have heard they can cause more problems than they solve.
I have looked at the wind deflector but not sure that is going to fill the bill.
Thanks,
Kai

A full coverage car bra? I think they look ridiculous but they should do the trick. I've also seen a lot of new upper class cars coming from the dealer with those "invisible" vinyl bras or whatever they are.

Not a "full bra"...I too don't think they look all that good.
I meant the "half bra" that just covers the lower section of the hood.
The bumper, being plastic more or less, is less of an issue.

i see this issue alot actually especially on this car. don't know why, but i do. thay do sell a clear vinyl bra for your car. its just like an invisible sticker that covers th front of the fenders and hood and is applied alot like you would apply window tint. actually, at my shop, the person that applies this and tint is the same person. so maybe find someone in your area that does tint and see if he'll hook you up.
