Splash Guard Advantage ??
Have a 2017 Honda Accord.. Seems to be a constant problem for Oil Change places (Mr Lube / Oil Changers) to properly secure the Splash Pan underneath the engine.. Yes the Guard has to be loosened and turned sideways to access the Oil Drain Plug.. Doesn't help that the Factory tabs to secure the Guard after the job is done don't last , hence they end up using Zip Ties .. This time of year is No Better, Crawling over Speed Bumps and Cruising an Unplowed street will just grab the Splash Pan.. Having said all this, What is the Advantage of keeping the Splash Pan on Period.. Is there any real savings economically speaking.. Opinions Appreciated, Cheers Thanks
