Default Can I connect an iPod to an OEM 4th gen ('93) radio?

I have the stock radio (PN: 39100-SM5-A300-M1). I know there is provision for adding a CD payer below (which I do not have). Is there a way to use that somehow to plug in an iPod instead? (I don't want to use one of these cassettes with a cable sticking out of it... )

Any help would be appreciated.
