Question Can my 94 coupe handle this ?

Iv looked for information but i couldn't find anything about it; i have a 94 coupe & i want to put in a sound system it consists of ; (it isn't installed yet)

BOSS - ( Amplifier ) 2100W Bridgeable 2-Channel MOSFET ,
BOSS - ( Stereo ) 50W x 4 AppleŽ iPodŽ-Ready ,
& 2 *two* BOSS - ( Subwoofers ) CX104DVC - CHAOS EXTREME (600 Watt Rms) 1200 Watt Peak 10" Dual 4-ohm

Iv seen some stuff online about "Your car's alternator ampere rating determines how powerful an amplifier you can install." and "The average output Voltage of an alternator."
I don't know what any of this means but if anyone can tell me my cars alternator rating and if it can handle the system ; or any concerns.

PS. this is my first thread , I'm new at this ; Iv turned here because i couldn't find answers anywhere else, please help !

those Boss amps won't be much of a load on the electrical system/alternator. i'd use a 4 awg amp kit, fused distribution block with 8 awg to each amp, and you're good.

you can always put in a larger alternator as well if you found you needed it. but I would think your alternator would be around 100 amps which means your reserve is going to be around 40 amps. a boss 2500 has a 60 amp fuse. so pushing it full tilt would only put you over by 20 amps. turned down and not pushed into clipping you should be very close to sufficient amperage. and to even reach that point you would have to have everything electrical in your car running at the same time plus your amp.

I think you will be fine.
