Default my radio doesn't work

My radio on my 2004 honda accord DX has power to it and the screen still works fine but I get nothing out of it. It sometimes makes a loud screeching noise then makes a popping sound like it is trying to send something to the speakers but then nothing. Most of the time it just does nothing. Any suggestions. Should i just replace the radio?

Simple answer is that the radio has failed.

Sorry. Honda was supplied poor radios by pioneer or Panasonic for your cars. They are known for issues. Replacements are expensive and harder to find.

Aftermarket radios are your best bet. If you don't have dual digital climate control, Metra makes a dash kit.
