Hi, newbe here, thanks to all who post the great info. I have an 05 accord LX with single cd radio, I wouldlike to upgrade to Sat radio with Nav, is that possible without tearing the dash completely apart and running a mile of wire? or would this be cost prohibitive.

Typically cost prohibitive. You need to buy OEM gear and install antennas, quite expensive.
