need help removing front 6.5" speakers!
To anyone who can help, I have a 99 coupe and began removing the door cover to access the existing speakers for replacement.
I removed two screws, one located in the handle (used to pull the door closed) and the other located right below the chrome lever (for opening the door).
I popped open various rivets along the door but not there's something within the chrome lever keeping the cover from coming the rest of the way off.
I tried removing the plastic piece around the lever and tried pulling and twisting the lever to remove it from the door but no luck.
Could someone please advise how to remove the door cover the rest of the way? Many thanks!

for the inside door handle on the back of it theres a white plastic bracket holding a rod into place, you can turn that plastic to remove the rod from the door handle, or you can pull the whole inside door handle toward the front of the car, it should have about a half an inch of play just like the normal door opening with the handle and you can rotate the handle through.

I'm pretty sure that you have to pull up on the door panel to get it off. I do this with the window down. Also double check for extra screws. My prelude has 3 screws. But you've got the right idea.
