Radio cuts out 2000 Accord
Hello all, im new, i have a honda accord 2.0se Executive on a x plate (2000)
Not alot else to say apart from this is my first Honda and i hope its more reliable than the 30 other cars ive owned in the last 20 years lol.
I do have a question:- my stereo keeps cutting out i had a look and asked a friend who said it maybe the power amp failing, now the big Q. where the hell is the power amp because the book that i got with the car has no mention of said device, (its a BOSE sound system)
Many thanks, Rudey.

welcome Rudey,
first: is this a U.S. or European version?
second: a Bose system has an external amplifier hidden somewhere.
Bose systems are very poorly documented and very little information is available on them. It may not be the amplifier but the head unit. head units are more notorious for failure than amplifiers.
If you get a PAC ROEM-HON you can replace the factory radio with something that might work better and offer modern features.
