Default Satellite radio cuts out

I have a 2004 Accord EX V6 with factory installed XM satellite radio. When driving to work, the radio cuts out in the same areas every day. I have tried to pinpoint if there is any interference (power lines, tall structures, etc) but cannot find a rhyme or reason for why it cuts out. When it does cut out, there is an audible hissing through the speakers. I would assume that if it is working 90% of the time on the way to work, that it is not the receiver. Any ideas?

if it is in the same place everyday, there is something in those spots interfering with the satelite signal.

I've had Sirius for a long time, multiple different units in multiple cars. (factory style and the old PNP radios) I just got an 05 Accord EXL and it has the same kind of problems, and has poor reception in areas I've never experienced reception issues in before. It was bad enough that I thought something may be wrong with the system in the car. I've seen a short interuption before, it happens. Bridges and overpasses, I get that. But there was no interference when this happened, just driving down Highway 20 outside Marietta GA and it was coming and going frequently enough for me to change back to normal FM radio. I was going to just shrug it off as a random occurance, but reading that others perhaps experience the same kind of problems makes me wonder about the factory antenna from the early mid 2000's.
