What did you use to add the transmission temp gauge?

 

do you have to bleed the air in the system after such a job or after you disconnect one of the hoses?

Hope you are all well.
I'm on my 2nd trans as well.
Installed a reman unit and the trans still isn't smooth as it once was. So changed the reman trans for another reman one and still the same...
Got a used TCU to try and no change...
So I am trying to figure out what goes on with my trans... If anyone has seen the case and has an idea, I'm all ears!

Hopefully, I can fix it and would like to add an additional cooler and possibly update components (I saw that there were som "upgraded valves" for our trans but don't know if it's just B.S or if the mod is really effective.

Any feedback from the brands you bought? any recommended ones and which to avoid?
