Default '06 engine upgrades

Hi everyone. I just recently started getting into the thought of upgrading my engine, but im pretty inexperienced. I have a '06 ex accord with k24a4 engine. What parts should i be looking to upgrade first? Any websites that i can read to learn more about this type of stuff? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

^ if I have money, time, and if the engine has alot of miles on it, I'll do the k20/24 swap.

But that's just me. Your car is responsive to mods since it's a k series. So the basic bolt ons, intake (any, as long as it's a very known brand name air filter), headers (d/c, greddy, etc..), exhaust system, and pulleys. If you were to go turbo, all the things i just listed would be a waste of money except the exhaust system.

Thanks for the answers and the welcome, I have a feeling I'll like it here. Thanks for bringing up the idea of an engine swap stevent. I've been interested in swapping my engine for someting a little faster, but would that be a good idea? If i was to do an engine swap, what engines are available that I can choose from? Any help is appreciated.

I heard those k engines can take alot of boost on stock internals. Turbo sounds like a good way to go. i think i saw a kit here once, that made 300hp on 10psi, He ran it daily with no prblems. All he did was replace the clucth.

you just swap out the heads with a k20a2 with internals from a tsx since the head from the k20a2 (rsx s) wont fit with internals of the accord. There's alot of information on this swap over the net.

from what i heard about the turbo kit for that engine all hedid was get a aftermarket exhaust system to disperse all the extra exhaust and the engine itself ran fine on stock internal 300hp and 300lb/ft on 10psi. if youre running an automatic he said you might also need to get a tranmission oil cooler the whole kit ran about 4000

i lied 4000 was the promotional price now its 5500
