Default 1990 accord throttle issues?

At operating temperature only, as i half throttle the pedal or in that range, my engine is severly impeaded. although, if i floor it it runs properly. this problem seems to occur every drive now. i have replaced the coil, plugs, wires etc. aswell as the fuel pressure regulator. i know the fuel pump is working from tests me and my buddy have done (hes a mechanic). ignition timing was also done and didnt change my problem. fuel filter was replaced about 8 months ago. my car is at 199580km. please help me with any ideas to get it to 200k in top working order. thanks

Make sure the throttle cable is adjusted well. And make sure all the hoses are connected with no leaks. Probably not your problem, but it never hurts to check!

Problem description suggests lean stumble due to partially blocked EGR ports. As you partially apply throttle the EGR remains open and too much EG gets pushed into 1-2 cylinders leading to over lean mixture and stumbling. This was a problem for quiite a few years including the 90 Accord.

Check DIY forums for help. If you can't find anything PM your email address and I'll forward a PDF (too large to post).

good luck

This seems to be what my accord is doing as well. Did you get your problem fixed?
