Default Idle and throttle issues

First time post guys.

thanks for any help. I just cleaned my TB, & intake manifold as had EGR flow issues, i cleaned the top of the intake Manifold to nice and shiny. Let it dry out over night. I cleaned one side of the bottom of the manifold up side where EGR port is.

I cleaned the TB up and replaced some of the hoses, all hoses and connectors are back on and tight, and electrical connectors are good.

I replaced both the TB and the intake gaskets. I will try the Honda TB gasket tomorrow now using a Fel-pro after market gasket. Car starts and idles well after ECU reset, but when i apply gas it throttles up and then drops back down to stalling out. I have checked all hoses, connections. I am looking at cleaning out the Fast Idle Thermo Valve, tomorrow.

NO CEL on.

I need some help this is my daily driver and i don't know what to do.

Thanks

A few things.

First, welcome.

Second, questions like this go into General Tech....I moved this one.

Third, what year and engine are we talking about here?

I didn't want to assume the year and engine but that was my guess by what you stated in your post.

Sorry, getting old here....I believe the sixth gens still had the same connector for the MAP and TPS....be sure you didn't switch them when you removed the intake....wrong connector on the wrong sensor.

Ahh...one other thing came to mind. The main ground for the ECU is also on the TB (G101) so you want to be sure it is clean and tight as well.......see #16 in this pic

Ok back at home, switched sensors and she is running, and purring like a kitten, that worked, I made sure I connected that Ground back its on the intake manifold. I am letting her sit for about 15 minutes idling before i take her for a test drive. I have put each and every one of those miles on this car.

Your a life savor Poorman.
