I was wondering if I am the only one experiencing this: My cars automatic transmission shifts from first to second at full throttle at 6200 RPM, whether its in drive mode, S mode, or even manual mode, its shifts on its own. Also, it wont stay in M1 unless I take off at full throttle, it automatically goes to M2. Thats 500 RPM of the power band I am not getting to use. The Shift quality is pretty good, but I paid for an engine that can rev (according to the car's tachometer) to 6750 RPM and I cant use all of it.

My Dads 2010 TL in Manual mode will allow the engine to hit the rev limiter and not shift automatically for you.

I am going to take my car to the dealer this week to complain about the Audio issue and perhaps this as well. Anyone else with any thoughts on this?
