Default 97 EX head swap

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the DIY section but i'll go ahead and ask here anyway. Im eventually going to replace the head on my 97 EX because of a slightly bent valve. My question is, how difficult, if at all possible, would it be to switch from SOHC to DOHC on my 2.2L VTec?

This is a good place, or Engine/Internal - please don't post questions in DIY.

I think the common opinion is it can be easier to just get a H-series engine rather than making a frankenstein out of yours.

The common slang is a "G-series" engine (F-series block with H-series head) if you want to search for threads about it. Or look for "H22 swap" or "H23 swap".

Actually there's more talk about this on the Engine/Internal board so I'll move this over to that place.
