Default Cruise Control Not Working.

I have no idea what to do or what to check in order to find out why my cruise control isn't working. I'll be checking the fuse in a few minutes. Any other suggestiond if the fuse is ok?

Stating your make, model, engine, transmission, and model year would be helpful.

There are several things it could be.

Did it ever work since you had the car?

Can we assume the main switch lights up but when you go to set it NOTHING happens.

Simple visual checks, is the cruise cable connected to the throttle body. Is the switch on the clutch pedal properly seated (closed) when the clutch is not pressed.

It hasn't worked since I got the car and the switch does NOT light up. And I cannot find a fuse in the box under the hood for it.
