Default Engine Idling Problem

Hey all, my 97 Accord is giving me an idling problem. It's not major, but I don't want it to become serious. When I come to a stop, the idle speed seems to drop and then pick back up. Anybody know what could cause this? By the way, I have about 205,000 miles put on my car. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, your EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) ports might be clogged. A fuel system cleaning might be needed. Also, check your motor mounts. If you don't have a vibration your mounts are probably good. The computer sets the idle speed, and that varies with weather conditions. Also, you might want to get the throttle body cleaned. Some other folks might recommend new plugs, distributor cap/rotor. I am sure everything is fine though, but just some suggestions.

Well, you could purchase some throttle body cleaner/air intake cleaner and spray it around the air intake. I would try that, but I would rather take it to the dealer cause they would do a more thorough job.
