Default F22 swap question

Hey guys am new here. Before I mate the tranny and engine together the engine turns freely but after I put them together the crank won't turn at all when I turn it manually. Did I missed anything? I know I put the torqu converter correct or else it wouldn't bolt in the tranny. I need help...

not without custom engine mounts, wiring harness, and shifter. All to lose horsepower and torque.

Red face 1996 Accord 2.2L Non-Vtec, engine swap Q's

Hey guys, new here. I plan to swap engines in my 96 Accord, 2.2L, non-V-tec. The shop says that I need to drop the engine out from the bottom, so I need it on a lift. Is this true? Wouldn't it come out the top, but I'll have to remove radiator, etc, and front cross-member, etc? Please help.
Also, anything "wierd" that I need to do, out of the ordinary? I can handle the work, but have never done this to a Honda.
Thanks in advance. My email: ajlong9988@yahoo.com

It can come out the top or bottom, I personally have always taken it out the top.

Orly??

So you are saying that when the car is in park the motor cannot spin?

Well then how does a car start in park then?

How do cars sit in park idling?

Park causes a pin to set in the output shaft which prevents the wheels from turning it does nothing to the input side of the transmission.

#1 you should not post your email address anywhere on the internet, it attracts spam bots, code that searches for email addys to add to spam lists.

#2 Download the Service Manual in the DYI section.

I recently removed the 2.2 engine in my Accord and all I did was follow the step by step instructions in the manual.

Yes the radiator must come out which 4 bolts and 2 hoses, not a big deal at all.

Cross member does not need to come out.

It is actually not too hard to remove the motor / trans on these cars.
