Default F22b1 swap to H22

Ok, so I have a 95 accord ex with an f22b1. It has a full stainless exhaust from the head back, an aem CAI, a chipped p28 ecu, and a short throw shifter. I've been kinda playin with the idea of swapping in an h22, but i kinda wanna know what i'm lookin at cost wise. will it need a new exhaust? will the intake still fit? are there going to be any problems leaving the original tranny from the accord on? will the ecu pose an issue? I also cant do the swap myself, due to where I live, and my lack of knowledge on the subject. So I guess how many hours i can expect to pay a mechanic at the local rate. I'm sorry for being so ignorant on the subject. thanks

I'm pretty sure the exhaust will need a little work to fit.

Not sure about the intake.

The ecu will have to be tuned, again, for the h22, but you can keep it.

The accord tranny will bolt up to the h22.

you will need a new exhaust. Unless your exhaust is a 2.5' MANDREL bend (not crush)
The f22 header won’t work with the h22 either

The intake will swap over fine. So will the ecu but yes it will need a new tune.

The accord trans will bolt up...but your better off with the h22 trans. F22 trans are way too tall for a h22. You will fall out of vtec and get walked on by b16 civics all day long. long gears suck on h22 engines

if you get a full h22 swap it will run you about 2k plus your install...so your prob. lookin at close to 3k if not more after install.

thanks a lot guys, its a little more than I was looking to spend especially since I have a 1g dsm that needs a million things and a new want for a 300zx. lol but the honda is just my daily driver, and it's got some ***** to it as is, for an accord, but i'd definitely like more. I'll definetly look into it and seriously think about it. i got a friend that had offered to help me do the swap myself and said he knows where I can get an H22 motor and trans for about 1500. so maybe it might be a little more realistic if i do it that way. and I do believe the exhaust is mandrel bent and buying a new header wont be a big deal.

it's all fine and good if it's mandrel bent. But it;s motsliley a 2' or 2.25' piping. Thats too small for the h22. I mean you can use to but you will be losing power. You need 2.5' sized pipe

You canfind the h22 cheaper that was just a online price. If you can get it install for some food in beer that would be the best way to go. If you have someone who knows what they are doing should only take a weekend to drop in into your engine bay then maybe anther day or so to work out all the kinks

Honda = Hold On Not Done Accelerating
And yeah it didnt surprise me the the talon needed a lot of work, i got it for a hefty price, but the friend I bought it from really needed some money for financial troubles, so i didnt mind paying the money for it. But this isnt a talon forum lol. I'm pretty sure that I have 2.5 in piping, I'd have to go and look at my online receipt. So just so I'm sure, the H22 is the best swap into my accord, for the ease and amount of power I'm gaining? I was told if I wanted to boost it, to use the F22 because of the iron sleeves, so I'm thinkin i'll drop the H in, and build the F22 to be a powerhouse and boost the **** out of it. If that were to be the case, would I be able to just leave the H tranny in it and just swap headers and ecu's whenever I swapped motors? I know this may sound kinda stupid, I just woke and seems like a good idea right now lol
