Default Front Crank Seal

The front seal on my Honda is leaking pretty good, is it possible to change the seal bye going in through fenderwell? Or is it one of those things where it would be easier just to yank the motor out. I just dont know how bad it would be to mess with the timing belt in the car. The car is an 89 Accord with the 2.2 Auto Fuel Injected.

Thanks

You can get to it with the motor in the car.....done it several times, latest adventure was in Sept 2011. I will also add that the o-rings on the oil pump can leak as well.....I'm assuming you pulled the upper cover and made sure it wasn't coming from the cam seal.....you can run the car with the upper cover off.
